چکیده
BackgroundHeart sounds (HS) are an important cardiac hemodynamic marker. The capability of a miniaturized three-dimensional (3D) accelerometer (AXL) present in implantable electronic devices (CIED) to detect HS clinical setting, especially heart failure (HF) patients (pts), has not been performed yet.ObjectiveThe objective this investigation was assess the feasibility measuring from 3D AXL on pts hospitalized due acute HF decompensation. characteristics were compared against those healthy subjects.MethodsData collected with custom wearable data collection unit (DCU) which included sensor capable x/y/z axis recording HS, electrodes for simultaneous electrocardiogram (ECG) collection, and removable memory storage. DCU placed chest decompensation or volunteers 48 hours . amplitude electromechanical activation time (EMAT), defined as interval between QRS S1, measured one hour ensemble averaged recorded beats.ResultsEleven NYHA class III-IV (10 male, median age 59 years, EF 20%) 5 subjects (2 42 years) analysis. Overall, features S1 S2 detectable x-axis z-axis all 16 subjects. demonstrated be axis-dependent, highest (17.3±4.8 mG). In subject audible S3, S3 also detected (4.9±0.9 Between groups, statistically different mG vs. 20.6±9.6 mG, p=0.43, figure 1A) while EMAT significantly longer (78.5±26.2 msec 47.4±9.5 msec, p=0.005, 1B).Conclusions yet. During a period of four years between June, IS, 1988 to June, IS, 1992 one hundred and fourteen patients with congestive heart failure (CHF) were admitted to the pediatric department of Taleghani General Hospital. During the above period, 192 patients with heart disease were hospitalized at this department and CHF was the cause of admission in 59.4% of them. Congenital heart disease (CHO) w...

Background: We were conducted this study to assess the prevalence of food insecurity in heart failure patients households and the relationship between food security and some variables in this households. Methods: In this cross sectional study, a total of 300 heart failure patients' households were studied in Imam Reza hospital of Mashhad. The Iranian version of household food insecurity access ...
متن کاملA Hybrid Model of Heart Anomalies Detection by Processing Heart Sounds
Introduction: Different factors are effective in detecting heart abnormalities. The greater the number of these factors, the greater the uncertainty in the detection of heart abnormalities. In the uncertainty condition in response of prediction model, the fuzzy systems are one of the most effective methods for generating an acceptable response. Method: In this applied study, 3240 records rela...

متن کاملSelf-care behaviors in patients with systolic heart failure
Background and Purpose: To improve life quality, and lower mortality and rehospitalization for heart failure patients, awareness and adherence to self-care behaviors are essential. This study aims to determine the adherence level to self-care behaviors in the patients with systolic heart failure hospitalized in Alborz hospital in Karaj andShahriar hospital, and it was conducted in 2013. Methods...
